Privacy notice

We keep this notice short on purpose. It explains, in plain language, what data we process when you visit DMD Awareness.

What we process

When you visit the site, we process limited technical information needed to deliver pages, keep the service secure, and understand site usage in aggregate. This includes the pages you visit, the date and time, your approximate location (country level), and basic device information such as browser type.

What we do not do

  • We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
  • We do not use third-party analytics or trackers.
  • We do not sell, share, or trade visitor data.
  • We do not collect accounts, contact, comment, or newsletter information, because the site does not offer those features.

Why

To operate and secure the site, and to understand which content is useful in aggregate. Under GDPR and LGPD, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure informational site. We have minimized what we process to what is necessary for that purpose.

Retention

Technical records are kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes above and are then deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to request information about the data we process about you, to ask for corrections, or to request deletion. Because we do not link visits to identifiable accounts, we may not be able to identify a specific person within our records, but we will respond in good faith. Contact details are on the about page.

Children

This site is informational and not directed at children. We do not knowingly process data from children.

Updates

We may update this notice. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
